The third annual Watershed Book fair was our biggest yet with a huge crowd of visitors swarming and buying books! We were set up all down Main Street with over a dozen authors hawking their wares. Many saw a large number of book sales and everyone got to hobnob with their readership as well as other writers. The Writer’s Association of Northern Appalachia was there to represent even more authors who couldn’t make the drive in.

After the Watershed Book Fair ended at 5, headliners Michael Dittman and David Drayer performed from their work at the bookstore before a packed crowd.

We were so proud to see such a strong representation of the talent that resides in our region! While we get to see writers share and perform their work, get to see them grow and get to learn from them, this kind of public event means we get to share the magic with a large crowd of people. I wonder how many discovered their new favorite book that day? I wonder who will be inspired to write their own book or join into the community?

We look forward with great excitement to next year’s Watershed Book Fair and hope you’ll join us either as an author or as a fan of the amazing work going on right here.
