Watershed Books is a bookstore and literary arts center open to the public to support readership and authorship in our community. Inside, there are dozens of local author’s books as well as 20+ genres of used books donated by the community. The center is run by The Watershed Journal Literary Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit literary organization.

What’s Inside Watershed Books

Watershed Books

We have thousands of new and gently-used books for sale in a variety of genres—popular fiction, classic literature, poetry, self-help, memoir/biography, nonfiction, multi-cultural literature, philosophy, children’s books, and much more! Thanks to your many donations, we have a sizable back stock and update the store daily with new selections.

Literary Center

Our literary center is open and active! While we strictly restrict the number of people in the store, we hope you will consider our location for your small-group literary efforts. Spend an afternoon reading or writing by a window with a complimentary cup of tea. Meet with a friend to work on your manuscript. Take advantage of the literary resources we have available free for the community.

Local Authors

We highlight the authors who live in our region by making the local authors table visually front and center in the bookstore. We’re so proud of all the momentum in our area and are excited to promote local sales!
