The Watershed Journal Literary Group is a grassroots, nonprofit organization that serves the storytelling community in our region and beyond. Our small, fiscally-conservative budget covers magazine production, events, outreach and community investment. It is because of our Membership Program that we are able to sustain our efforts throughout the year and we are so grateful to our supporters for making this happen!

EDITION SPONSOR for The Watershed Journal: $500/issue

The quarterly magazine that elevated our organization from a social group to include publishing, The Watershed Journal has been in publication for over five years. Each edition includes a unique compilation of regional poetry, stories, memoirs, photography, artwork and more. BOOKSTORE SUSTAINABILITY SPONSOR: $1000/year

A couple of years ago we were a writer’s group wandering from location to location as we met together for writer’s meetings, workshops, celebrations and more. We decided to open a bookstore not only as a way to reach the readers in our community, but also as a way to have a roof over our heads for our many free public events. The bookstore has become a place where people can meet together, use free wifi, enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea as they read, work, or study, all without an expectation of spending money. We emphasize our regional authors through our consignment program that is visually prominent in the store.

Help us keep the bookstore going, especially as we move to our new first-floor, prime shopping location on Main Street in Brookville.
