Frozen Solid by Patti Susko
There’s a silent stillness
To God’s magnificence
Driving winter souls
Towards summer’s brilliance
Sky’s gray and blue hues
Brown and icy branches
Are landmark clues
That a quiet restoration
is happening
Below the surface
For in these
in betweens, the hibernations
Rests the mysterious meaning and reality
Of our existence.
