Byron Hoot is a poet from Rochester Mills who explores paradox in the natural world and works to distill language to enhance the impact of each poem. Byron has been published in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Indiana Post-Gazette, Dark Horse Appalachia, PENNESSENCE and in both the Fall and Winter Editions of The Watershed Journal. Byron was also our featured writer for the Fall Edition. In this episode, Byron talks about having a strong daily practice in writing and how he characterizing good writing as writing with a purpose.
