Kirke Wise has been spotted at open mic nights at various coffeehouses and gathering places in the area performing his poetry. Kirke is known for his sing-song rhyme schemes, quirky style and fearless approach to poetry and performance. He is one of the founding contributors of The Watershed Journal, a member of the Editorial Committee and the magazine’s very first Literary Sponsor, which will enable seven local libraries to receive free copies of all 4 editions in 2019. You can find Kirke’s poems in the Summer, Fall and Winter Edition of The Watershed Journal.
In our continuing mission to promote regional writers, photographers and storytellers, we are introducing yet another way for our followers and supporters to get to know the incredibly talented people who make The Watershed Journal possible. In these episodes, our writers will talk about the inspiration and methods behind their work.
