When I sit down to write about The Watershed Journal (TWJ), there’s always a strong temptation to start at the beginning. This literary community has blossomed and bloomed so brilliantly in only a few years. It would be easy to get swept away with the momentum and forget where and why we started.

Nancy’s hybrid book From Little Houses to Little Women: Revisiting a Literary Childhood (Missouri 2014) brings together travel writing, memoir, and literary criticism. It is the pick for this month’s PA Wilds Book Club, meeting Sunday, March 19 at 2pm at Watershed Books.

Poetry & Cats at the Calico Cafe
On Saturday, February 18, twelve poets met together at the Calico Cafe in Brookville to read their cat poetry … to cats! The poetry was met with casual indifference by the target audience, but a good time was had by all. Check out more pictures here!
