Summer 2024 Member’s Newsletter

Thank you, Members, for your support this year and every year. Because of you, we have been able to move to a new location, host dozens of free events for the reading and writing community, continue to publish magazines (can you believe we’re on our 25th edition?!), and run a successful bookstore in the meantime. We are looking forward to bigger and better things in the future for our local writers and deeper engagement with the reading community.

In the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds, where the dense forests and winding rivers inspire a deep connection to nature and creativity, we operate an independent literary magazine that strives to capture the essence of this unique region. Our magazine, The Watershed Journal, is a labor of love, produced quarterly, and is a testament to the vibrant voices and visions of creators from all corners of the Pennsylvania Wilds. We strive to create an immersive experience for our readers by thoughtfully pairing written pieces with images sourced from our local community. This unique approach not only enriches the reader’s journey but also deepens the connection between the content and the PA Wilds region we celebrate.
