This summer we are so excited to bring you more free events to the bookstore and lots of opportunities to discover new-to-you books! New donations are coming in all the time and the bookshelves are being refreshed one by one. Be sure to stop into Watershed Books whenever you’re looking to scratch the literary itch!

We are in the middle of Spring Cleaning here at the bookstore and all of our shelves are getting new selections from our back stock. Thank you to everyone who has donated books – we have quite a collection to pour through! It’s been a lot of fun going through them and you won’t believe the quality of titles we’ve discovered. New microgenres are now being put together including true crime, political biographies, cooking and more. What will you discover on your next visit?

All summer long, Watershed Books will be curating a wide variety of $2 book bundles from our paperback collection. The bundles include 3-4 books arranged by genre or author and are a fun way to set up your summer reading. Collections include thrillers, humor, action/adventure, scifi & fantasy and more.Get to know a new author, dive into an unknown genre, or fill your craving for your favorite reads. There’s something for everyone!

Be sure to check out our online calendar and social media to keep up with the exciting events going on at the bookstore over the next few months. Our free and open writer’s group, Writer’s Block Party, will be meeting on the last Sunday of each month at 2pm to share unpublished works and get encouraging feedback. Tune into Friday nights when we are open til 9: we host an Open Mic in the middle of the month and a variety of come-and-go events from week to week.

We also invite you to use our wifi, reading room and children’s area whenever you’re in town looking for something to do!
